My Lover, My Friend

It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it. Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead. (Ecclesiastes 5:5, 7 NLT)

Today is my anniversary and I am so blessed to be married to the man of my dreams for 10 years. It seems so unreal that someone like me has a husband who respects me, protects me, nurtures me, strengthens me, motivates me, corrects me, desires me, caresses me, kisses me, touches me & loves me. I never thought I would experience true love. 10 years ago we made a vow to love and honor one another & 10 years later we’re still going strong. It’s rare these days for people to make vows and keep them and I am so appreciative to still be happily married to my husband, my lover, my friend.

*Dedicated to my hubby Mike
