Sunny Isle JBCO Review & Demo

Hey beauties!

I love that there are so many great products now for natural hair.  That has not always been the case. So now the question is, how do you know what works for your hair and what doesn't?

I can say the best way is to try various products and see how your hair responds. Well, I have a few products that I tried recently and I want to share my thoughts.  I've also included a video to a styling demonstration using the products.

I tried the Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo, conditioner and styling mousse from Sunny Isle.  These products are sulfate and paraben-free, and include JBCO coupled with key essential oils.

I started by shampooing with the SIJBCO Shampoo.  It's a very thin consistency but a little goes a long way. I love the lather it provides. The fragrance is nice. It reminds me of a light island fragrance.  My hair felt cleansed and free from product build up.

After shampooing, I conditioned with the SIJBCO Conditioner.  Like the shampoo, the consistency is thin but coats the hair very well.

My hair felt nice and moisturized. I was able to finger detangle so the product provides good slippage.

I wrapped my hair in a tshirt so that my hair wouldn't be as wet and it wouldn't take as long to dry once I set my hair.

After sectioning off my hair, I applied a pump or two to each section, detangled and rolled each section.  I let my hair dry over night.

The next morning at take down, my hair was so soft with impeccable shine. All I had to do was separate and lift at the roots to get more volume.  To maintain the style, I slept in a satin bonnet.
