As we prepare to pull out our boots, sweaters and turtle necks, you may also see warmer hair colors like burgundy, auburn, bronze and copper.
So I decided to go darker. Blonde was perfect for me during the summer and for the fall I'm going with a plum/burgundy. I used a rinse to alleviate damaging my hair. This color is a semi-permanent that I bought from Sally Beauty Supply. It takes better on hair that is already lightened. I used a full bottle of the color. I started by washing and conditioning my hair. After towel drying my hair, massaged in the hair color and put on a plastic cap To allow the color to set for 25 minutes. I rinsed the color out until the water ran clear. I then did my go to flat twist out and allowed my hair to air dry over night.
The more I wash my hair, the more the color will fade over time. As it fades I will just freshen up the color again. It is still very important to deep condition my hair to keep it healthy & moisturized.
