Oven Baked Drummettes

Hello fam!  

I posted a picture of the dinner I made for hubby on Christmas.  The menu consisted of my homemade mac n' cheese, skillet cabbage, whole grain rice, cornbread and oven bake drummettes.  Here are the steps and seasonings I used for my drummettes.

 INGREDENTS

Pack of drummettes (8-10 pcs) 

1/2 Green bell pepper

1/2 White (or yellow) onion

10-15 Organic baby carrots  

3 Red potatoes  

 

SEASONINGS

Liquid Smoke

Perfect Pinh - Italian

Seasoned Pepper

Seasoned Salt

Garlic Powder

Nature's Seasons - Seasoning Blend

Tenderizer

 

PREP & BAKE 

* Preheat oven 350°

* Slice veggies and set aside

* In a pan, add a few drops of liquid smoke and spread around bottom of the pan

* Add your seasonings to pan

* Wash chicken and place in pan

* Add in your slice veggies

* Season the top of chicken and veggies

* Add water to pan 1/2 way (be sure water doesn't cover the chicken)

* Cover pan with foil and bake (I like to bake for 1 1/2 hour to allow chicken to be extra tender)

* If you want to brown the chicken and/or add a little crisp, once baked put oven on broil 500° and place uncovered chicken in oven for 2-3 minutes
